  6. This is Julia's Dream, a program that generates high-quality
  7. Julia set images in real time. (A Julia set is a beautiful
  8. fractal 'dragon', related to the Mandelbrot set.) A plain Mac II
  9. calculates a 512 * 512 image in about 2 seconds; smaller images
  10. even allow for animation. Just pick a parameter in the complex
  11. plane with your mouse, and the associated Julia set pops up.

  13. Julia's Dream uses a new algorithm, the details of which I hope
  14. to publish as soon as possible. Julia's Dream requires at least
  15. a 68020 and Color QuickDraw; it is free for non-commercial use.
